About Reachable Cart
Reachable Cart is a small studio run by Danil and based in Ireland. We help Shopify stores in the US and Europe become usable for shoppers with disabilities.
We started Reachable Cart after seeing how many online stores lose customers to problems nobody notices: a colour option that cannot be picked with a keyboard, a popup that cannot be closed, a button a screen reader can only call "button". These problems are rarely in the Shopify theme itself. They come in later, with apps, custom sections and brand styling, and they are usually quick to fix once someone looks for them.
How we work
- Everything in writing. We work by email, so every finding, quote and change is documented and easy to review.
- Proof first. We show you the problems on your own store, with screenshots, before you decide anything.
- Your store stays safe. We fix a copy of your theme through Shopify's collaborator access. You publish when you are happy.
- You pay after you check. The price is fixed before we start, and you pay once you have reviewed the result.
- Honest about limits. We do not sell widgets and we do not promise legal guarantees.
Standards we follow
We test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. It builds on WCAG 2.1 AA, which is part of the European standard behind the European Accessibility Act (EN 301 549) and is commonly used in US accessibility cases. Our checks combine automated testing with keyboard and screen reader testing.
